Brendon Blincoe has lived in Toluca Lake since 2008, along with his wife Lauren and their twins. Professionally, Brendon is a Real Estate Agent with The Agency. Volunteering has always been rewarding to Brendon and his family. Giving back to the community that gives them so much happiness. This has been Brendon’s first year as a Trustee on the TLHOA where he currently serves as the Treasurer. He has also served on the Board of Trustees at the Wesley School (K-8) for the past four years. In addition, he has served as Chair on the Development Committee for 5 years. In 2018 Brendon and his wife were active in helping 'save Christmas' by joining forces with Angie (fellow Trustee) and Eric Niemeyer, to continuing the Christmas Eve tradition of the Magical Holiday Parade in Toluca Lake. Brendon and his wife currently serve on the Board for this nonprofit. In his spare time, Brendon enjoys family time in Newport Beach along with their mini Australian shepherd, Sailor and Yulin rescue pup, Pumpkin.

Leah Mangum and her husband have been raising their 2 boys in Toluca Lake for 15 years. She loved the community so much that she became a Block Captain for the Neighborhood Watch Program. Our family always attended the events that were produced by the wonderful Toluca Lake Committees. I wanted to become more involved in the TL community. Becoming a volunteer member on the TLHOA was a great  way to be more involved in the neighborhood that we loved. I reached out to the TLHOA and was in charge of expanding our membership then I moved on to the executive board and took over the Secretary position.Leah attended Loyola University and owns her own Boutique Casting Company. She has been the president of the Wesley School Parent Association and was a member of the Development Committee. She is looking forward to seeing more neighbors become a part of our TLHOA.

Terry Herkner chose Toluca Lake to live in when her company moved to the Valley and purchased her first of two homes here. Toluca Lake had the same  cozy walkable neighborhood vibe as her previous  Belmont Shores home . Terry has lived in Toluca Lake for 35 years.

Terry spent 30 years in the department industry in buying and merchandising upon graduation from Occidental College. She left Senior Management for May Department Stores/Macy’s to become Co-President of a California based women’s apparel company. Since retirement, the days have been full of volunteer work for TLHOA, Girl Scouts, election work, North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, and the International Institute of Los Angeles in the resettlement of Afghans evacuated from Afghanistan in 2021. Terry is also an avid traveler and workout enthusiast.

Being able to give back to the neighborhood where she loves eating, shopping, and caroling has been fun and challenging as a Board member for Membership and the Events Committee.. Covid propelled and challenged TLHOA into new approaches to reach out to the community from implementing electronic membership to holding covid safe drive through food & pet donation events. Events continue to grow and expand adding mixers & the Neighbor2Neighbor Block party.

Jenny Malik Hollier was born and raised in Sherman Oaks and has resided in Toluca Lake for 18 years, the last 7 of which she has owned property on Talofa Ave, with her husband Chris Hollier. They live there with their two sons Jack, 12, and Finn, 8. The boys enjoy riding their bikes throughout the neighborhood and making the weekly stops to restaurants and coffee shapes, Patty’s is one

of their favorites.

Jenny has worked with her family-owned and operated company, the Malik Corporation, for the past 15 years. They develop residential housing in the Los Angeles Area and Jenny’s main role is to maintain and update the 40 + existing buildings that the company has built.

In addition to working in property development, over the past two years, Mrs. Hollier has resided as the Parent Association Co-Chair at The Wesley School, where her children currently attend 7th and 3rd Grades. Though this last year was a challenge, Jenny’s main goal was to still try to maintain community and togetherness, despite the restrictions placed on us.

Moving forward, Jenny feels like she would be a good asset to the Toluca Lake Homeowners Association Board because she takes pride in her community. She would like to maintain the integrity and charm that people have come to love of Toluca Lake, while still helping to find appropriate and creative ways for our corner of Los Angeles to grow

`it takes a village…

The Toluca Lake Homeowner’s Association is committed to preserving a gracious, tranquil, family-friendly, safe and high standard of life for all residents of Toluca Lake. We are dedicated to protecting the unique character and “village” atmosphere that have distinguished our wonderful community since 1923. To this end, the TLHOA is working in concert with our sister organizations (Toluca Lake Chamber of Commerce, Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council), City officials, developers, architects, property owners, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our members have a voice in shaping the projects that affect the well-being of our neighborhood and that of Toluca Village.

Our collective efforts, however, are just part of the picture. As residents of Toluca Lake, your personal focus, commitment and involvement are critical in helping us safeguard our community.

By staying informed and engaged regarding any proposed local development, you can help us preseve and maintain the quality and character of life enjoyed by the people who live and work in our great community.
